NRCS has maintained an ongoing and productive partnership with all of the indigenous Native American tribes in Maine, and has helped facilitate more than $4 million in tribal contracts to address natural resource concerns.
This summer the USDA state offices in Bangor helped feed area families and individuals in need by collecting more than 200 pounds of food for a local food bank.
