What We Do

Building Stewardship

The long-term success of the Chesapeake Bay will ultimately depend on the actions and support of the 17 million residents who call the watershed home.

Conserving Chesapeake Forests

Programs that improve forest health & create new forests in places important to water quality and to watershed residents.

Reducing Stormwater Runoff

Water that runs off from hard surfaces like roads, driveways, roofs, and parking lots carries with it a wide diversity of pollutants.

Assisting Local Governments

We provide technical assistance & training to enable local governments to implement actions that protect or restore their watersheds.

Networking & Education

To accelerate restoration activities, we support our partners, from capacity building to providing networking & information sharing opportunities.
