Division of Financial Management Home

Purpose

The Division of Financial Management (DFM) develops and implements policies and procedures for Service-wide financial management, financial system policies and analysis, billings and collections, travel management, external financial reporting, charge card management, stewardship accounting and reporting, accounting operations, cost recovery, financial statement preparation, reporting and auditing, and the Service’s investment program.

DFM also serves as the Service’s support organization for the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS). FBMS integrates and streamlines the Department of the Interior's financial and administrative functions across all DOI Bureaus and is the primary administrative system for the Service.
