Updated UPDATE November 8, 2016 : USGS streamflow monitoring has been discontinued at the following sites effective November 8, 2016:
  • 06426130 Donkey Creek near Gillette, WY (2000 to present)
  • 06426160 Stonepile Creek at mouth near Gillette, WY (2000 to present)
USGS streamflow monitoring was discontinued at the following sites effective July 1, 2016:
  • 06306250 Prairie Dog Creek near Acme, WY (1970 to present)
  • 06324000 Clear Creek near Arvada, WY (1915 to present)
  • 06625000 Encampment River at mouth near Encampment, WY (1940 to present) UPDATE March 18, 2016 : Partner funding restored for site. USGS operation and maintenance will continue.
  • 06647500 Box Elder Creek at Boxelder, WY (1946 to present)
  • 06652800 North Platte River below Glendo Reservoir, WY (1957 to present)
Monitoring activities at these sites (map) were funded jointly by the USGS and a partner agency through the USGS Cooperative Water Program (http://water.usgs.gov/coop/). Lack of partner funding for these sites after June 30, 2016 resulted in discontinuation of all monitoring activities.
