C.A.S.T. for Kids
C.A.S.T for Kids is a very special fishing event that provides disabled and disadvantaged children the opportunity to experience the joy of fishing. Each child is teamed up with a “Captain”, an expert angler from either the BASS Federation or local boaters and fishermen, who take the participant on their boat to enjoy life on water. The Captain introduces safety skills, the basics of fishing, and fishing ethics during the adventure.
C.A.S.T. for Kids is for children ages 7 to 17, no fishing experience is necessary. The participants take home fishing equipment, extra goodies, and an award. They also take home memories that last a lifetime!
