General elections will be held in Campbell County on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 for: Governor; Lieutenant Governor; Attorney General; House of Delegates for 22nd, 59th, and 60th Districts; and the Members of the Campbell County Board of Supervisors and School Board for Timberlake, Rustburg, and Brookneal Districts.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for men and women interested in a law enforcement career as a Deputy Sheriff. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.

The Campbell County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hold public hearings to discuss several planning matters at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Public hearings are open to the public; concerns from interested citizens supporting or opposing these matters will be heard.

The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office will hold the annual Deputy Jason Saunders Memorial Car Show and Swap Meet on Saturday, October 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Yellow Branch Elementary School (377 Dennis Riddle Drive - intersection of Route 29, and Route 24, Rustburg).
