DoD hosts meet with American Indians
Utah Department of Defense agencies hosted their annual face-to-face meeting Aug. 25-26 with American Indian tribes who claim ancestral and ongoing ties to lands managed by the DOD agencies.
This FREE introductory course provides valuable information for DoD employees whose work could affect Indian Tribes tribes and for those already working with tribes and tribal members. This training session will be specifically targeted to Navy Region NW and their registration requests will be given first priority. Registration deadline is October 31, 2016. This FREE half-day Executive Session is designed to provide DoD Senior Management and Commander level representatives the foundation for building successful working relationships with Native Hawaiians through consultation.
