As the only community college in Baltimore City, and the only State-sponsored community college in Maryland, we enroll more Baltimore City residents than any other college or university in the state. For 64 years, the College has served as a gateway to higher education. We have graduated more than 30,000 students and counting. We are open to all, and are proud of our city and the diverse populations we serve who live and work here.
Your academic and career success is the primary goal. BCCC faculty and staff continuously work to provide excellent teaching, quality and high-demand programs and enhanced student support services. We offer more than 36 associate degree and 14 certificate programs either online or at our many convenient locations throughout the city.
This is an exciting time for the College. We are redefining and expanding learning opportunities across Baltimore. The BCCC Life Sciences Institute at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) BioPark is a state-of-the-art facility where students can pursue their associate degrees in Biotechnology. At our Maryland Center for Construction Technologies on the city’s east side, we are serving students pursuing careers in the construction industry trades such as electrical, plumbing, and construction management and supervision. BCCC is also one of five Weatherization Hubs in the state offering energy-related training programs.
