Mission: The 704th Military Intelligence Brigade executes full-spectrum signals intelligence to enable mission command and information dominance in support of national requirements and Army combatant commanders.


Staying true to the motto “Here and Everywhere,” the 704th Military Intelligence Brigade has subordinate battalions at Fort Meade, and at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, with additional elements assigned in support of Army and joint commands throughout the world. Additionally, the 704th Military Intelligence Brigade deploys teams and individual Soldiers in support of global operations.

Subordinate units include:

The 741st Military Intelligence Battalion executes signals intelligence and computer network operations through the National Security Agency and Central Security Service to support national, combined, joint, and Army decision makers and to shape future Army intelligence capabilities.

The 742nd Military Intelligence Battalion conducts analysis and reporting through the Global Operation Center-SIGINT and has taken the lead in SIGINT training for deploying units with Foundry sites at installations to include the Joint Readiness Training Center and National Training Center. Lastly, the 742nd provides critical defensive cyber operations in support of national requirements.

The 743rd Military Intelligence Battalion, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado deploys technically qualified Soldiers in support of tactical command missions and provides advanced National ELINT capability to Army/National decisions makers.
