Partnerships Make Transportation Options Possible
There has been an influx of thousands of new workers and residents at Fort Meade due to the U.S. Department of Defense's Base Realignment and Closure process, which brought the Defense Information Systems Agency, the Defense Media Activity and Defense Adjudication Activities and the expanding presence of command partners such as the National Security Agency and the U.S. Cyber Command.
During the past few years, Fort Meade has established partnerships with federal, state and local officials to find ways to help mitigate traffic congestion by decreasing the number of cars entering and exiting the installation. Belowyou will find several examples of our partnership efforts.
