Intro to ECHO Map Filter Webinar

This webinar will introduce the new ECHO Map Filter tool. Map Filter brings analysis and targeting for cross-program and Clean Water Act dischargers into a simple map-based format that makes it easy to turn facilities on and off and change your search criteria without returning to the original search form. The tool also adds further area context by including the ability to add various map layers such as schools and impaired waters.

Intro to the Acts in ECHO

This one-hour webinar is the first in a series of Spring 2016 webinars that will take us back to the basics in EPA's ECHO website. We will look into the origin of the acts for which data are found in ECHO--the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act, and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. With a more in-depth understanding of where these acts came from and why the permits and violations are so important to track, searches on ECHO can become deeper and even more questions can begin to get answered. After laying the brickwork down with these important acts, we will look into tools that are sometimes overlooked or underused.

Presentation: Acts Tracked in ECHO (PDF)(18 pp, 1.4 MB)
