Thank you for your interest in the online OpenNSPECT Training.  This training consists of a lecture and independent exercises using the OpenNSPECT tool on your computer.

OpenNSPECT is a tool used to examine the impact of land use decisions on nonpoint-source pollution, erosion, and runoff.  OpenNSPECT runs in the MapWindow GIS desktop software environment. MapWindow is a free, open-source GIS software package. After registration, we will send you instructions on downloading and installing both MapWindow and OpenNSPECT.

NOTE: To participate in this training, you will need speakers or headphones.  You may also want a microphone if you wish to speak to the presenters.  If you do not have a microphone, there will be a chat box available for written questions.
