Incident Overview
The Pinnacle Mountain Fire began Wednesday, Nov. 9 and was human caused. Efforts to control this fire have involved numerous local, state and federal agencies, with hundreds of personnel assigned to the incident so far. This mission is being coordinated under a unified command between SC Forestry Commission, Ostler, Central Utah Team 1, and Staton, Holly Springs Fire Dept.

Weather Concerns | Light rain spread over the area early this morning and continued for much of the day. Rainfall totals across the area were between 0.5 and 1 inch. Light rain will end around midnight with a brief period of dry but cloudy conditions expected Monday. Temperatures will rise into the low to mid 50s Monday with relative humidity dropping to around 80%. Low pressure will move northeast from the Gulf of Mexico Monday, spreading moderate rain over the area Monday night. Total rainfall Monday night will be 0.5 to 1 inch.
