Bureau of Reclamation releases Final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for Rehabilitation of Date Street 100 and 200 Buildings

The Bureau of Reclamation has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) on a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) for the rehabilitation of the Date Street 100 and Date Street 200 Buildings, located on the Date Street Campus in Boulder City, Nevada. The proposed action is to use Reclamation-owned historic structures for training, conference, office, and records management spaces, through rehabilitation consistent with the Historic District in which they are located. The EA evaluates potential impacts of the proposed action to the human environment.

The Draft EA was released for public review in May 2011. After considering public comments, Reclamation has determined that the rehabilitation of the Date Street 100 and Date Street 200 Buildings will not significantly impact the human environment; therefore an Environmental Impact Statement will not be prepared.
