EMSL scientists and our users are making a significant impact in scientific studies of biological, environmental, and climate systems, and on the development of catalysis and energy storage materials.
In addition to science theme calls, EMSL provides leadership through its intramural program and research campaigns, a form of team science. Research campaigns are projects initiated through workshops or our annual calls for proposals that are designed to focus multidisciplinary team approaches for accelerated study of very specific scientific challenges. The intramural program accelerates development of staff expertise and/or technology and capabilities.
