Paraprofessionals Watershed Restoration Training Program
The goal of this program is to train volunteers to assist with the development of watershed restoration plans, which are a blueprint for clean water in New Jersey. The volunteers will be trained to conduct watershed surveys and to identify potential pollution sources and opportunities to fix problems in the watershed. The trained volunteers will work with Rutgers engineers and scientists to apply their newly developed skills to local watersheds. Upon completion of the course, the volunteers will be certified Paraprofessionals in Watershed Restoration Planning with the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Water Resources Program.
