PNNL's Future Campus Update
Accelerated closure of the 300 Area in Richland, Wash. has long been touted as a major aspect of the Hanford Site clean up. Once the location of the Manhattan Project, the U.S. Department of Energy is well on its way to deconstructing this area of Hanford.

PNNL Continues Commitment to Safety
Workplace safety is a top priority at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and organizations outside the Laboratory have taken notice. In November 2006, The Association of Washington Business presented PNNL with the "Better Workplace Award for Safety," for efforts to enhance the Laboratory's safety culture.
