NRCS has $9.5 million available to help Missouri landowners restore wetlands and $360,000 available for easements to protect agricultural land from conversion to non-agricultural uses.
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is adding the northern bobwhite to Working Lands for Wildlife, the agency’s targeted, science-based effort to help producers restore and protect habitat for declining species on farms, ranches and working forests.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is accepting applications for enrollment in the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP). Missouri farmers and ranchers can apply through February 3 at local USDA Service Centers.
A non-profit community action group in the Ozarks combined volunteer efforts with donations from local businesses and $6,000 from NRCS to construct a seasonal high tunnel at its community garden.
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Farm Service Agency (FSA) and Rural Development (RD) will host StrikeForce for Rural Growth and Opportunity Initiative meetings in Houston, Mount Vernon, Sikeston, Ste. Genevieve and Springfield, November 1-3.
