WASHINGTON, February 8, 2013 - Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today reminded
Hispanic and women farmers and ranchers who allege discrimination by the USDA in
past decades that there are 45 days remaining in the filing period closing March
25, 2013.

Little Rock, Ark., Jan. 7, 2013 – Rice growers in 13 Arkansas counties who
agree to install pilot conservation practices under the Conservation Innovation
Grant – Greenhouse Gas (CIG-GHG) program have until Feb. 15, 2013, to submit
applications to receive financial assistance to implement conservation
practices.

Little Rock, AR, January 9, 2013— USDA Deputy Under Secretary for Natural
Resources and Environment Ann Mills today joined Deputy Secretary of the
Interior David J. Hayes, Senator Mark Pryor, Congressman Tim Griffin, and
Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Army (Civil Works) Terrence “Rock”
Salt to announce the designation of the White River Watershed National Blueway.
In support of the designation, USDA will invest $22 million in soil and water
conservation projects in the watershed.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 23, 2012 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA)
efforts to help producers rebound from drought have touched more than one
million acres of farmland across the country as nearly 2,000 producers took
advantage of conservation funding targeted to drought-stricken areas by USDA's
Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). NRCS made more than $27 million
available to farmers and ranchers to make conservation improvements, spurring
recovery and ensuring lands are more drought resistant in the future.
