In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers rededicated their efforts to help rebuild more resilient and sustainable coastal communities. This publication was developed to provide government officials with a unified strategy for improving long-term performance of coastal rebuilding and restoration actions.
