The Branch of FOIA/Records Privacy is responsible for Service-wide receipt, tracking, coordination and providing timely responses to Freedom of Information Act(FOIA) requests in accordance with Federal law and Federal and Department regulatory requirements.  The branch is also responsible for Service-wide/National-level development and coordination of Service policies, directives and procedural instructions for managing information resources and official records retention/disposal activities in accordance with Federal law and Federal and Department regulatory requirements.
