Volunteer

Volunteers help to ensure marine sanctuaries remain America's underwater treasures for future generations. Through their efforts, volunteers contribute over 100,000 hours of annual service to the sanctuaries in areas of research, monitoring, enforcement, education and outreach, and management advisory.

There are a variety of ways to become involved with Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary. The sanctuary hosts a number of ocean-oriented events throughout the year including:

  • reef clean-ups
  • fish counts
  • art contests
  • festivals

Join one of our e-mail lists to receive periodic messages or see calendar and news & events for details.
