Conferences & Events

EMSL recognizes the importance of scientific dialogue across the S&T community and seeks out experts in their fields to visit EMSL and provide seminars to its staff and users while also ensuring its staff attend and present at major scientific meetings. We welcome opportunities for our staff to visit universities, companies and other laboratories to share their most recent research results or to provide an overview of the user facility and how to engage with us.

EMSL Director’s Seminar Series

EMSL Interim Director Harvey Bolton is committed to providing opportunities for our users and for our scientists to meet and hear from distinguished scientists from around the world. The seminar series include tracks for scientists who have distinguished themselves early in their careers, those who have longevity as distinguished scientists, and those whose research can be celebrated through 2015’s Year of Soils.

EMSL Engagement at Major Scientific Meetings

EMSL is represented at conference years round. You will hear from EMSL scientists and users at major meetings hosted by organizations such as the American Geophysical Union, American Chemical Society, International Society of Microbial Ecology, American Society of Microbiology and others.
