The Federal Employees Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) Program provides group term life insurance consisting of basic life insurance coverage and options for additional coverage.  As a new Federal employee, you will automatically receive basic life insurance coverage with premiums deducted from your paycheck. You will have options to waive or expand coverage.
