A visual display system that animates Earth science and solar system information on a large sphere for audiences of all ages. SOS.noaa.gov
Objectives
Introduce new technologies to enhance and expand the Science on a Sphere experience, work closely with the SOS users and educators, install additional SOS systems, and continue increasing science datasets for SOS displays.
Customer/beneficiary
K-12 students, science teachers, science museums and other venues, people of all ages.
Milestones and deliverables
Add 10 Science On a Sphere exhibits or temporary exhibits worldwide per year. Cumulative number of domestic and international Science On a Sphere exhibits permanent and temporary installations in science museums and other venues

Conduct three NEIS demonstrations of High Impact Weather Prediction project
