Guidance for Benthic Habitat Mapping

This document presents the environmental and technical criteria for acquiring aerial imagery suitable for seagrass and other shallow benthic mapping. The document also includes methods and recommendations for generating digital habitat data and for evaluating the accuracy of these products. This information can guide contract design and field sampling efforts, and inform local and regional mapping programs.
