The Central Appalachian Interior Mountains and Plateaus Region 6 (SSR 6) provides guidance, leadership and support throughout the eastern, western southern part of the United States. Collecting soil information and collecting inventory from West Virginia all the the way to Northern Arkansas. The SSR 6 has field offices in the following states; Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, and West Virginia. The regional office is located in Morgantown, WV.
