The BP-16 Rate Case, which set power and transmission rates for the FY 2016-2017 rate period, was completed on July 23, 2015, upon the issuance of the BP-16 Administrator's Final Record of Decision. The BP-16 Rate Case record was filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on July 29, 2015.
PNC-14 Rate Case - (Legal documentation)
The PNC-14 Rate Case was initiated to change the Interchange Energy rate under the Pacific Northwest Coordination Agreement (PNCA). The PNCA is an agreement for planned and coordinated operations among the utilities and other entities that operate major electric generating facilities and systems in the Pacific Northwest. However, on September 30, 2014, BPA filed a Motion to Dismiss the PNC-14 Rate Case. That Motion was granted by the Hearing Officer in the proceeding on October 2, 2014.

The 2014 BPA Rate Case, which set power and transmission rates for the FY 2014-2015 rate period, was completed and filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on July 29, 2013. The 2014 BPA Administrator’s Final Record of Decision was issued July 24, 2013.

The OS-14 Rate Case, which established a rate to recover the costs incurred under BPA’s Oversupply Management Protocol during FY 2012-2015, was completed on March 27, 2014, upon the issuance of the OS-14 Administrator's Final Record of Decision.

The 2012 BPA Rate Case, which set power and transmission rates for the FY 2012-2013 rate period, was completed and filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on August 1, 2011. The 2012 BPA Administrator’s Final Record of Decision was issued July 26, 2011. BPA received interim approval of the proposed power rates on September 22, 2011.
REP-12 Proceeding - (Legal documentation) (Final Proposal)
BPA conducted a proceeding, the Residential Exchange Program Settlement Agreement Proceeding (REP-12), to review the terms and conditions of a proposed 17-year settlement of issues regarding the implementation of the Residential Exchange Program. The Administrator’s Final Record of Decision for the Residential Exchange Program Settlement Proceeding was issued July 26, 2011.

The 2010 BPA Rate Case, which set power and transmission rates for the FY 2010-2011 rate period under separate sub-dockets, WP-10 for power and TR-10 for transmission, was completed and filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on July 29, 2009. The 2010 BPA Administrator’s Final Record of Decision covering both sub-dockets was issued July 22, 2009. BPA received interim approval of the proposed power rates on September 28, 2009.

BPA reopened the Tiered Rate Methodology proceeding under section 7 of the Northwest Power Act to consider a limited number of proposed modifications to the TRM. The modifications considered in this proceeding adhered to particular provisions of section 12 of the TRM. On September 2, 2009, this proceeding concluded with the issuance of Administrator’s Final Record of Decision and an updated Tiered Rate Methodology.

On February 8, 2008, BPA initiated the 2007 Supplemental Rate Case with the issuance of its Federal Register Notice announcing the reopening of the 2007 wholesale power rate adjustment proceeding. This supplemental proceeding established new rates for FY 2009 and dealt with a number of issues regarding rates between FY 2002-2008. On September 22, 2008, the Administrator’s Final Record of Decision was issued; BPA received final approval of the proposed rates on July 16, 2009.

On April 23, 2007, BPA issued the Administrator’s Final Record of Decision concluding the 2008 Transmission and Ancillary Services Proceeding that established BPA’s transmission rates for FY 2008-2009.
