Commissioner Tony Clark has been a member of FERC since June 15, 2012.

He is a former member of the North Dakota Public Service Commission, also serving as Chairman of the Commission.
The office is a statewide elective office, and Commissioner Clark was first elected to the PSC in 2000.
While at the North Dakota Commission, Commissioner Clark held the PSC portfolio on electric generation and transmission and was active in state and regional efforts to develop North Dakota’s vast energy exporting potential and to provide affordable, reliable energy to consumers. In November 2010, Commissioner Clark was elected to serve a one-year term as President of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), and led association efforts on matters of importance to the regulatory community and America’s utility consumers.
Commissioner Clark also served as North Dakota’s Labor Commissioner in the cabinet of former Gov. Ed Schafer. He is a former state legislator, representing Fargo in the state House of Representatives from 1994-97.
Commissioner Clark is a graduate, with honors, from North Dakota State University and he holds an MPA from the University of North Dakota.

Now Vice Chairman of the State Department International Security Board and a member of the National Academies Intelligence, Science and Technology Experts Group, Mr. Curtis served as Under Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Department of Energy from 1994 to 1997, with direct programmatic responsibility for all DOE’s energy, science, technology and national security programs. Mr. Curtis, who has practiced law in Washington, D.C., for many years, is President Emeritus of the Nuclear Threat Institute and senior advisor to the Center for Strategic and International Studies. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the United Nations Foundation, and held positions on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Treasury Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
