The Air Pollution Control District (APCD) is a special district created by state law to enforce local, state and federal air pollution regulations. Our vision is to achieve and maintain clean air standards throughout Placer County. In April 2000, the Board of Directors adopted the APCD's Mission Statement.

NOTICE OF OFFICE CLOSURE

 

The District Office will be closed Christmas week, 12/26 – 12/30.  The office will re-open on Tuesday, 01/03/17.  Please arrange to obtain any burn permits in advance, or if necessary you may make a special appointment to obtain a burn permit 12/27 – 12/30 by calling (530) 745-2335. 

 

Complaints regarding smoke or odor can be made on-line at any time during the closure week, after-hours, weekends, and on holidays.  The District will attempt to make a timely response to every complaint filed.

 

The daily burn day notice will be continue to be updated daily.
