Naval Hospital Bremerton is looking for experienced Labor and Delivery Nurses to join Northwest Beginnings, our Labor and Delivery Department in Bremerton, WA. As a Labor and Delivery Clinical Nurse you will provide care to women of childbearing age and newborn infants using current nursing practices, demonstrate skill in dealing with potential health problems that arise during pregnancy, assist medical providers with physical examinations and treatment of pregnant patients, and educate patients and families on the plan of care designed by the medical providers.

Naval Hospital Bremerton is a fully accredited, community-based acute care and obstetrical hospital operating in-patient, ambulatory, acute care, and specialty clinics. The main campus is conveniently located just off State Route 3, approximately five miles north of Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, and ten miles south of Naval Base Kitsap Bangor. The hospital's more than 1,400 dedicated military, civilian, contract and volunteer staff of doctors, nurses, hospital corpsmen and support staff administer compassionate, professional care to over 60,000 eligible military families residing within its West Puget Sound area of responsibility.

Naval Hospital Bremerton is located on a beautiful wooded 49-acre campus that includes a staff gym. The hospital is the parent command for three branch health clinics in the Puget Sound area, which are located at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Naval Base Kitsap Bangor, and Naval Station Everett.

Naval Hospital Bremerton has three primary missions in support of our warfighters, past and present and their families by: providing exceptional care anytime and anywhere; shaping military medicine through training, research, and graduate medical education; and preparing our forces for deployment.
