Tribal Wildlife Grant Program - Funding
In FY 2007, $6,000,000 was provided for TWG projects. Although the Interior Department budget has not yet been passed by the Congress and signed by the President, proposals are now being solicited in anticipation of funding equal to that available in FY 2007.
If funding is made available as anticipated, the Service will award grants up to a maximum of $200,000 for a single project. There is no grant award minimum.
Matching funds and partnerships are not required. However, projects that include matching funds, inkind contributions, or partnerships may score higher in the ranking process.
