In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and the destruction it has caused, donations are being accepted by  the United Way of  New York City and the United Ways along the Eastern Seaboard. Donations are also being accepted by the American Red Cross.

If you would like to donate to the United Way, visit the United Way Hurricane Sandy Recovery Fund . You can also use your phone to text RECOVERY to 52000 to make a $10 donation.

If you would like to donate to the American Red Cross, visit  The American Red Cross and make a contribution online or check out other ways to donate and to fundraise.
