Application to Operate an Industrial Source, Incinerator, or Fuel Burning Equipment 
Facilities with an industrial source, incinerator, or fuel burning equipment are required to obtain an approval from the Ministry of Environment prior to operation. The Clean Air Act and The Clean Air Regulations identify application requirements to be submitted to the Environmental Protection Branch.

Facilities wanting to alter, add, or change an industrial source, incinerator, or fuel burning equipment are required to get an approval from the ministry prior to operation.
