| Description | YOU MUST COMPLETE THE SAFETY FOR SUPERVISORS FINAL QUIZ IN THE COURSE ACTIVITIES AREA BELOW IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A COMPLETION CERTIFICATE FOR THIS COURSE. The course is designed to meet mandated legal requirements for safety training for supervisors under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The course will provide an overview of supervisor safety responsibilities as well as policies from OSHA, the Department of the Interior (DOI), and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The course will include practice exercises for the student to aid in carrying out safety responsibilities such as: identifying hazards in the workplace; filling out an employee hazard report, filling out a job hazards assessment, looking up Service policies for a specific activity, and developing a station safety plan. |
