The purpose of this memorandum is to provide guidance for the formal Department of the Navy Enterprise Architecture (DON EA) waiver request and approval process. Assessment of compliance of Information Technology, including National Security System investments with the DON EA will begin Oct. 1, 2009, as part of three existing processes:
- Department of the Navy Information Management/Information Technology Investment Review Process;
- the Title 40/Clinger-Cohen Act Compliance Confirmation process; and
- the Mission Area Chief Engineer review process.
