I have a request for help. Some of you may know US Army CASCOM has a Logistics Professional forum, LOGNet, with approx 22,000 Soldiers, NCOs, Officers and DA Civilians. Within LOGNet, we've established an "Acquisition Logistics" CoP designed for member to share experience, ask questions, and generally improve their knowledge on acquisition/contracting topics. These folks could really benefit from the expertise, wisdom and experience of the SMEs and professionals within this "Contractors Accompanying the Force" CoP, and others within the ACC. Likewise, it would expand the reach/influence of members in this CoP, as they provide authoritative information to the field (thru LOGNet).
For those who feel this would be beneficial, I will place the direct LOGNet Acquistion Logistics CoP URL shortly. It requires AKO credentials, but let me know (via this CoP discussion) if you need to be sponsored. If you've never been to LOGNet, you will not see the entire layout until you click on "Become A Member", fill in the requisite information, and then click on "Subscribe" to activate your notifications (LOGNet runs on the same software as ACC, so most will be familiar with it).
I believe taking action on this will benefit both forums tremendously, and help address some of the DOD/Army concerns regarding how tactical commanders/staff utilize contracting support. Thanks

Patrick,
I am interested. I spent 15 years in industry before moving over to an FFRDC. All of my experience is in contracting and I supported many Irag contracts while in industry. However, I do not have AKO credentials.
