Center for Information Warfare Training

Center for Information Warfare Training

The Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT) delivers trained information warfare professionals to the Navy and joint services, enabling optimal performance of information warfare across the full spectrum of military operations.

CIWT is one of the largest of the Naval Education and Training Command learning centers with training sites throughout the United States and Japan.

In July 2016, the name of our enterprise evolved from Center for Information Dominance to CIWT to emphasize a shift in thinking of information warfare as a critical capability of the Navy’s mission sets. Our four commands (formerly “units”) are each now called Information Warfare Training Command (IWTC). Read the story on www.navy.mil at http://go.usa.gov/xxstY.
