Any provider interested in expanding and advancing the quality and delivery of mental health care through the latest research and technology for combat and operational stress control injuries. This includes:

- Identify best practices for combat and operational stress control injuries to enhance psychological force and mission readiness
- Describe the latest research and technology to advance the quality and delivery of mental health care
- Be able to describe the role of resilience and caregiver stress to improve and maintain the quality of clinical practice

Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Naval Medical Center San Diego designates this live activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This course is approved by Naval Medical Center San Diego, an approved provider of Continuing Nursing Education under the California Board of Registered Nursing Provider No. 916 for 6 contact hours.
The Mental Health Service, Naval Medical Center San Diego, is approved by the American Psychological Association to provide continuing education for psychologists. The Mental Health Service, NMCSD, maintains responsibility for the program.
The Combat & Operational Stress Control Symposium is approved for 6 psychology CE credits.

- CME/CNE (Physicians/Nurses)
Those WITH a .mil account who are requesting CME or CNE and able to access NMCSD CME Certificate page, will receive your certificate upon completion of the post-symposium evaluation and 45-day survey. CME Code: 7135; CME Closing Date: 24 Oct 2014.
Those WITHOUT a .mil account who are requesting CME or CNE credit, please pick up an evaluation at the attendance desk or email Tricia Betts for your post-symposium evaluations and 45-day survey.
- CE (Psychologists)
Participants must complete a post-symposium evaluation for EACH presentation. Paper copy evaluations will be provided at the auditorium; DCO attendees will receive via email (please email Tricia Betts if you have not received by 30 September 2014). Once we receive completed evaluations back, we will email you the certificate.
- CEU (Social Worker)
Will be provided at the auditorium and emailed if attending via DCO (please email Tricia Betts if you have not received by 30 September 2014).

All personnel who plan on attending at NMCSD auditorium must have a government ID or a base visitor's pass from the course coordinator (below). Anyone attending virtually must ensure their system meets the Defense Connect Online (DCO) system requirements.
