USMC Traumatic Injury Protection Program Receives DON IM/IT Excellence Award

The USMC Traumatic Injury Protection Program received the award for development and implementation of the Marine Corps' T-SGLI Office.

The USMC Traumatic Injury Protection Program provides monetary assistance to help service members, who suffer a loss as a result of a serious traumatic injury, and their families through the rehabilitation period. Through the effective use of IT, T-SGLI processed more than 1,350 applications and provided eligible Marines with more than $52 million in benefits.
