The purpose of this memo is to establish performance measures and their associated reporting requirements in order to assess progress in achieving business information technology transformation. These measures may be updated in the future to reflect improved reporting/analysis, incorporate feedback, or to respond to changing mission and fiscal requirements.

The purpose of this memorandum is to establish performance measures and their associated reporting requirements in order to assess progress in achieving business IT transformation and the goals addressed in reference (a). These measures, identified in enclosure (1), have been modified from those published in reference (a). They may be updated in the future to reflect improved reporting/analysis, incorporate feedback, or to respond to changing mission and fiscal requirements.

This performance measure process shall commence the second quarter of fiscal year 2013, with results due to the Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer (DON CIO) no later than 15 April 2013. Thereafter, performance shall be reported semi-annually (i.e., 15 June and 15 January).

The Department of the Navy Assistant for Administration (DON/AA), DON Deputy CIO (Navy), and DON Deputy CIO (Marine Corps) shall each provide a point of contact (POC) to coordinate the collection and reporting of the requested data.
