Wellness

The Office of the Dean of Students will offer wellness programming throughout the school year. Programming will focus on fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, relationships, and emotional wellness.

WELLCONNECT

UNT Dallas College of Law is committed to the health and wellness of our students and offers free, comprehensive wellness services through the WellConnect Student Assistance Program. Through WellConnect, students, their families, and members of their households have access to one-on-one, 24/7, telephonic access to licensed mental health professionals for in-the-moment support. Other services include:

  • Six (6) sessions of telephonic counseling, or in-person sessions from preferred providers in the area, at locations and times that are convenient
  • Debt and financial consultation
  • Health and wellness consultations
  • Students can access WellConnect at any time by calling the toll free number and identifying themselves as a UNT Dallas College of Law student or a family/household member of a UNT Dallas College of Law student

TEXAS LAWYERS' ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (TLAP)

TLAP provides confidential help for lawyers, law students and judges who have problems with substance abuse and/or mental health issues. Law students may call TLAP at any time of the day or night and may call anonymously if they wish to do so.
