DENTON, Texas (10/31/07) The North Texas women’s tennis team will be hosting its first North Texas Classic on November 2 3 at the Waranch Tennis Center.

The Mean Green will have raffle drawings and will be giving away food, as well as hosting tennis clinics.

"North Texas Classic is our grand finale for the fall season,” said head coach Sujay Lama. “It will have a feel of a regular dual match. We want to come out of the gates with a bang and try to use the home court support to play our best tennis and build some momentum for the spring season. This event is also an opportunity for us to give back and showcase our team and the Waranch Tennis Center.”

Come out and support Women’s Tennis as they take the University of Texas El Paso, the University of Illinois Chicago and the University of Texas-San Antonio. Events will begin at 9 a.m.on Friday.
