DENTON, Texas (2/8/08) North Texas will end its regular season by hosting the Privateers of New Orleans Saturday morning at the Pohl Recreation Center at 11 a.m. North Texas will also honor eight Mean Green swimmers at its final home meet of the 2007-08 season.

Last season was the first ever meeting between the two schools with the Mean Green taking a 143.5-111.5 decision in New Orleans.

North Texas (3-8) heads into the meet winners in two of its last three dual meets and is looking for a boost heading into the Sun Belt Conference Championships to be held Feb. 28-March 1 in Nashville, Tenn.

Just two weeks after picking up its first ever win over the University of Houston, North Texas acheived another program first as the knocked off TCU 161-139 Wednesday night in Fort Worth. It was the first ever head-to-head win over the Horned Frogs. North Texas was 0-16 against the TCU prior to Wednesday night. Six different Mean Green swimmers won at least one individual race for North Texas.
