SMI 2016, July 10 - 30
The Summer Mathematics Institute (SMI) is a fast-paced intensive program for mathematically talented students. Rising 7th – 11th grade students who are excited about learning and have excelled in mathematics are eligible to apply. Students enroll in one of the following classes during the three-week residential program: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, or Precalculus.
All courses for the 2016 program are full, and we are no longer accepting applications. The tentative dates for the 2017 program are July 9 – 29, 2017. If you are interested in applying for the 2017 SMI program, please check this website beginning February 1, 2017 for the application materials.
Many details of the SMI program are highlighted in the brochure below. Please read it carefully to help you decide if the program is right for your child. While the SMI program is academically challenging, it is designed for your student to have fun and get to know many of their academic peers!
