Brian Miller is an experienced professional in the field of Instructional Design. He comes to us from the University of Texas at Dallas where he worked as Instructional Technology Training Specialist with dual responsibilities of course design and training faculty and staff on the best practices in the use of Blackboard Learn and other instructional technologies. He started his career as an Instructional Media Specialist (Professional Intern) in 2012 at the University of New Mexico, where he was responsible for course design and the course updates of numerous courses.
In his position at UNT Dallas, Brian will apply his knowledge of learning science, instructional design and educational technology to assist faculty in the design and development of online, blended, and face-to-face teaching and learning efforts. He will be providing instruction, training and technical assistance in the development and delivery of online courses to better and more efficiently serve our students and faculty.
