Safety in Instructional Activities (Policy 06.038)

Ensuring a safe teaching environment is of paramount importance at the University of North Texas. It is the responsibility of all UNT personnel to consider safety in the instructional setting on an ongoing basis. Department/Division heads are charged with periodically reviewing instructional activities within their units regarding the safety of students, teaching staff, and anyone else who may be present. This review includes the degree to which hazards (defined as conditions that create or heighten the likelihood of injury or death) to participants may exist.
