Biography
Kathryn Ostermeier is a 3rd year PhD Candidate in the Department of Management at the University of North Texas. She has successfully passed her comprehensive qualifying exams and is currently working on her dissertation, which is centered around identity conflict. Kathryn's dissertation committee includes Dr. Danielle Cooper (chair) and Dr. Julie Hancock (committee member). She is on track to defend her dissertation in the spring of 2018.
Kathryn's research interests are in the areas of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. Current projects include research on authenticity (relational and climate), identity, turnover, and organizational performance.
Kathryn has presented her research at the Academy of Management Meeting (AOM) annual meeting, Southern Management Assication (SMA) annual meeting, the Midwest Academy of International Business (AIB-MW) annual meeting, Southwest Academy of Managment (SWAM) annual meeting, and the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP) annual meeting. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship, is accepted for publication at the Journal of International Business Research and Practice, and is under review at Personnel Psychology.
