Mark your calendars for the 25th Anniversary of Research Appreciation Day
on Friday, April 7, 2017!

Since its inception, RAD has featured outstanding speakers, exhibited quality research, and rewarded students and team members for their research achievements. Each year, the Office of Research and Innovation proudly hosts this institutional tradition. This year begins a new partnership between the Office of Research and Innovation and Gibson D. Lewis Library to make the RAD silver jubilee a memorable celebration. In collaboration with the Graduate Student Association and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, we announce that our distinguished 25th Anniversary keynote speaker is Bruce Beutler, MD. Drs. Beutler and Jules A. Hoffman shared the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for their “discoveries concerning the activation of innate immunity.”

Beginning in January, Lewis Library and the Center for Academic Performance will offer instruction sessions to support RAD participants with abstract writing, poster creation, and research presentation.

More details about RAD 2017 will be available soon. For questions, please e-mail rad@unthsc.edu.
