Preparing To Teach
In this section are resources that will help you prepare to teach a class at UNT. You can use this guide to determine what you need to know about a course before you begin teaching. Also, we provide an outline of tasks and questions to think about that can help you develop organizational strategies for your teaching. We include a special section on preparing for the First Day of Class because we know it is perhaps the most important day of the semester for a course. And last, because many of you will be assisted by graduate teaching assistants (TA’s) in your courses, we discuss providing clear expectations for them so they can provide the most help for you and your students.
